Our Governors are very active and spend a great deal of time in school.  Jo Duesbury is our Chair of Governors, Kira her daughter is in our Year 6 class.  Jo is always in the playground at some point in the week, if you would like to chat to her or her contact details are available from the office.

Long hair should be tied back (boys and girls) as it keeps unwanted visitors at bay!

Please avoid booking holidays in term time as they will not be authorised.  Fixed Penalty fines will be issued if your child’s attendance becomes a concern.

Home time

Please inform us if someone different is collecting your child. If we have not been told we are unable to let the child go until we have made all the relevant phone calls and checks. This is for your child’s safety.

If you are running late and another parent is collecting at the last minute please phone the office and they will pass on the message.

Please phone or email the school office if your child is ill before 8.45am

Children should not wear jewellery to school to avoid it getting lost or broken and for their own and others safety.

School starts at 8.45am, if your child arrives after this time even by 1 minute, they will be marked late!  Lateness is monitored by our Attendance Improvement Officer.

If you arrive at school after 8.45am you will need to enter via the main entrance and sign the late book!

Please check book bags daily for letters and read them – we try to keep you as informed as we can with whole school and class events/issues. Spare ones will usually be available in class or at the office or on the school website.
