We are proud to part of The Children’s University!
The Children’s University (CU) Trust offers 7 to 14 year olds (and 5 to 6 year olds with their families) exciting and innovative learning activities and experiences outside normal school hours.
It’s an organisation which signposts exciting learning activities for children and their families which take place outside the normal school day – it could be before school, during lunchtime, after school, during weekends or holidays etc. The activities are all voluntary, it is up to the child and the family to choose what you do and when, and the learning always has a link to something children could go on to do at a ‘grown up’ university.
Each child will receive a ‘Passport to Learning’. Each time the child visits an approved ‘Learning Destination’ they get a stamp for a number of hours. The more activities each child completes, the more hours they get. Once they get to 30 hours they receive a bronze certificate, 65 hours for silver and 100 hours for gold. These certificates are usually presented at special ‘graduation’ events.
